Tony Wai
Tony Wai

CEO

Tony hails from a long and successful background in the healthcare sector. He was Interim CEO and GM Corporate Services with ProCare Health, New Zealand’s largest primary healthcare provider. Prior to that, Tony spent many years with Atlantis Healthcare Group, as Group COO NZ Managing Director. His previous experience was in the manufacturing sector with some of New Zealand's best-known brand where he held senior finance, operations, and advisory roles. Tony holds a number of advisory and governance roles relating to the disability sector, health IT and health consulting.

Neil Hopkins
Neil Hopkins

CFO

Neil Hopkins was appointed acting Chief Financial Officer in June 2021 responsible for overall financial management and reporting. Neil is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience. His roles include serving as CFO and Company Secretary of both public and private companies including at Endace Limited, which was listed on the London AIM and 9 Spokes International Limited listed on the ASX, Neil is also the treasurer and trustee on Play it Strange, a New Zealand not-for-profit organisation focused on youth music. Neil holds a BA (Hons) Business Studies, Accounting & Finance from Kingston University, UK, he is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and is a Member of the NZ Institute of Directors.

Dr Peter Zink
Dr Peter Zink

Medical Director

Dr Zink is a specialist general practitioner and practice partner at Cornwall Medical Centre where he has been supporting the health of his community for more than 25 years, including providing GP services to aged residential care facilities in central and south Auckland. Dr Zink has a special interest in older people's health holding a diploma in Geriatrics. Dr Zink leads our clinical team and chairs our Clinical Advisory Committee.

Campbell Patterson
Campbell Patterson

Operations Manager

Campbell has been our Operations Manager since late 2016 and is responsible for several areas of our practice including our IT infrastructure, software integrations, practitioner team support, business development, client services, supplier relationships and recruitment.

Ruth Morse
Ruth Morse

Head of Communications and Engagement

Ruth is a strategic communications and marketing professional who has studied both business and health science and is passionate about working in primary care as a means to improving the health, wellbeing and quality of life of all New Zealanders. Ruth was the Corporate Partnerships Manager at the Starship Foundation and Head of Marketing Communications for ProCare Health before joining Third Age Health. She has worked in the private and non-profit sector both here in New Zealand and United Kingdom. Ruth is chair of For the Love of Bees a charitable trust working to develop regenerative urban farms across New Zealand to mitigate climate change.

Lucy Wu
Lucy Wu

Clinical Change Advisor

Lucy is a nurse with a passion for public health and primary care. She has worked as a practice nurse in a variety of general practices, as a public health nurse for ARPHS, and has project managed various health projects at ProCare. Her drive to explore the determinants of wellness has led her to leadership roles in the sport sector and board positions in community activation and ethical trade. She brings experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships and designing innovative health solutions.

Sanaz Rezaeefard
Sanaz Rezaeefard

Area Practice Manager, Auckland

Sanaz has over eight years’ experience in the NZ Health sector following a career as a registered nurse and clinical manager in Iran. Upon moving to New Zealand with her young family in 2010 Sanaz completed a master’s degree in management specialising in health services management from Massey University. As a cancer and bone marrow transplant survivor Sanaz strongly advocates continuity of care for patients and is passionate about quality improvement. She is committed to developing integrated models of care which improve health, wellbeing and quality of life for patients.

Bessie Marsh
Bessie Marsh

Practice manager for aged care

Bessie has been our practice manager since early 2016 and is responsible for the day to day management of our practice. Bessie is the primary contact person for our client facilities and is also responsible for the the day to day rostering.

Madelaine Young
Madelaine Young

Clinical Change Co-ordinator

Madelaine Young Madelaine is a registered nurse who has worked in various nursing roles within the hospital setting, private sector, and community. Madelaine has experience caring for older adults in both the acute and long-term care setting. Her previous experience as a needs assessor and service coordinator has given her the opportunity to help patients and families coordinate care at home and moving into residential care. Madelaine is passionate about patient centred care and advocating for vulnerable people. Madelaine has worked as a caregiver and a nurse in long term residential care and is eager to contribute to clinical change in this space to improve the lives of people living in care.
