Following our 2022 AGM on Tuesday 19 July we are delighted to announce that John Fernandes was re-elected to the Third Age Health Board and will take on the role as the incoming Chair. John is CFO of MacroActive and Executive Director of Anjuli Mack Fit. He has experience in strategy, finance and continuous improvement within financial services, telco, media and technology businesses in New Zealand and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Auckland.  John has been a Third Age Health Board Director since 2019 and it is fantastic to have him step into the role of Chair.

John replaces Bevan Walsh who has been the Chair of the Board for the past nine years.  Whilst Bevan will remain an active Board Director going forward, we wish to thank him for his significant contribution as Chair for almost a decade.

We are also pleased to announce that Norah Barlow was re-elected to the Board and as a highly experienced business executive, with extensive knowledge of the aged care sector, we are thrilled that she will again play a valuable governance role for Third Age Health.

Wayne Williams remains an independent director and will step into the role of Chair Audit Committee.

Diane Burdes has stepped down from her role on the Board as she is currently experiencing health challenges. We thank Diane for her significant contribution as a Director and wish her all the best for a full recovery.
